Anyone have any dealings with selling/taking commissions for large format (18"x24") original art? Needing someone to ask about this, cause I am lost in regards to this.

Huh, DA decided to roll out the 'renaming' option finally. On the one hand, it's great for those who are sick to death of their user name and keeps people from creating new accounts just for this expressed purpose. On the other hand, once you change your user name, the old name is Null and Void from that point forward; meaning should you EVER change your mind, you can never go back on your decision (plus you can only change it ONCE every 6 months, so if you make a mistake, you're stuck with it for at least that long unless your sub runs out prior to the 6 month mark).

I think DA should have done one of two choices:

1) Allowed for users to buy a renaming token that is valid at ANY time without the price of a sub (I know, there is still the matter of changing things over in the system, but I think they could easily adapt this)
2) Allow users to change their displayed name at will, but make them keep the original account name as their main log-in


Meh, not that I am going to change my user name because I see no point in doing this since I like it, and it is a part of who I am after using it for this long, but I can see the draw for others who want a change from what they used to have.


I, for one, am waiting for the day they finally LET US EDIT DANG COMMENTS! I doubt that'll come about anytime too soon, but it would be a nice feature to have.
